i had musical.ly since it started but when it changed to tik tok, i uninstalled it because it wasnt the same thing. last october i downloaded it again because of my friends and i became obsessed with it. i found it really cool how people just vibed and stuff. not so long after that, the hype house started and i really liked them, then i got bored and then all the problems started to flourish. now almost no one above 14 yo mind the hype house. once we got rid of the hype house fans, the fight between alt and straight tik tok became a thing. at first it was kinda fun but now its a competence to see who is more edgy. I H A T E IT. ngl, alt tik tok is funnier, but it is not less toxic than straight side. they're equal in thay sense. this may sound like im pressed, but im not, i just want everyone to be happy and do what they want ;(
I miss when tiktok wasn't all about hype. i miss when it wasn't toxic, i miss when you could go on and just vibe, when it was just a bunch of random people on your fyp building vsco hangouts and fangirling over stranger things, not famous people like Jason Derulo, the Kardashians, and some random fboy with a thousand followers. before the hype house was a thing. when you could say a tiktokers name and everyone would know who it was. now you say a name and no one's talking about the same person. i miss when you weren't judged about what you posted. i miss when people could take a joke and not get all offended. i miss when it was just a bunch of losers trying to have fun..
